Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website or using the marine electrical services provided by Captain's Marine Electrical ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services
Captain's Marine Electrical provides professional marine electrical services throughout the Florida Keys, including but not limited to:
- DC and AC electrical system installation and repair
- Marine electronics installation
- Battery and power management systems
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Complete vessel rewiring
- Custom electrical panel fabrication
- Emergency electrical services
Service Estimates and Quotes
All estimates and quotes provided are based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary based on:
- Actual conditions discovered during service
- Additional repairs or parts needed
- Accessibility of systems
- Weather conditions affecting work schedule
We will communicate any significant changes to estimates before proceeding with additional work.
Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
- For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins
- Past due accounts may be subject to service charges
Warranties and Guarantees
- Our workmanship is guaranteed for a period of one (1) year from completion
- Parts and equipment warranties are provided by their respective manufacturers
- Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
- Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of discovering an issue
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided
- We are not responsible for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages
- We are not liable for delays caused by parts availability, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
- We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions not disclosed prior to service
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information about vessel electrical systems
- Disclose known issues or previous work performed
- Ensure safe access to the vessel and work areas
- Remove or secure personal belongings before service
- Provide adequate ventilation and lighting when possible
Cancellation Policy
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
- No-shows may be charged for travel time and lost schedule time
- Emergency services are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis
Safety and Compliance
All work performed by Captain's Marine Electrical:
- Meets or exceeds ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council) standards
- Complies with applicable marine electrical codes
- Uses marine-grade components and materials
- Is performed by certified technicians
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Captain's Marine Electrical and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Captain's Marine Electrical from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of our services
- Violation of these Terms
- Infringement of any third-party rights
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Monroe County, Florida.
